Touched By The Tongariro
Mixed media Turangi Artworks 10 – 27 April This is a community exhibition inspired by a strong sense of place. Situated at the head of the lake and nestled under Mount Pihanga, Turangi is a town with a huge range of landscapes at its doorstep. It commands a position as a gateway to the Tongariro National Park. The wide range of artwork in this exhibition reflects the diversity of the group as well as the diversity of the surrounding environment. Several members have exhibited widely, and a group of enthusiastic artists have set up an attractive shop in the town.
