Rock Climbing Wall
The Rock Wall is an all-weather adventure climbing wall for new to advanced climbers. Standing 12 metres high the wall is a fun and challenging activity for all.
The climbs are graded from 12 to 29 and are constantly changed so the challenge never ends. Qualified instructors are on hand to offer valuable advice and assist with technique.
Individual programs or group lessons are available to help you make the most of your climbing opportunities.
The Rock Wall is a popular option for birthday parties, as are group and corporate bookings for team-building and bonding/trust sessions. We can also organise other team building activites for you.

Silk classes at the Rockwall
Aerial silk is a type of performance in which one or more artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a special fabric. They use the fabric to wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various figures. Aerial silks may be used to fly through the air, striking poses and figures while flying. The three main categories of tricks are climbs, wraps and drops.
Before classes and regular practices the climbers must dedicate at least 15 minutes for warming-up and stretches. The strength is a really important part of this activity because the student has to be able to hold their own body on the silks for the exercises.
We will be offering a variety of aerial silks courses to suit all abilities and ages. The courses will be running in weekly sessions for 7 weeks. Cost will be $100 for the 7 hour and half lessons payable upon registration at the Taupo Events Centre reception.
We offer a range of packages to suit most budgets, from casual visits, memberships, 1 off sessions to block-booked ongoing courses for your group.
The Climbing Wall has a mobile shop situated at the wall which stocks a range of climbing gear for the beginner to the experienced climbers. Please talk to our experienced staff on how they can assist you.
