Taupo is thrilled to be chosen as a team base for the South Africans, Irish and Welsh during the Rugby World Cup Festival, September 2011.

Our Taupo Rugby World Cup Regional Group will meet in February to set up an action plan for the festivities during each team's visit. It is their intention to get as much community involvement as possible so that everyone has a chance to enjoy the festivities.
