Unison Amphitheatre
Located in the CBD across from Tongariro North Domain lies Riverside Park. Within the grounds of the park is the Unison Amphitheatre. The Amphitheatre is on the banks of the Waikato River - a picturesque setting, with large mature trees and an outdoor stage. The grassed amphitheatre provides seating for approximately 15,000 people.
Previous Events have included Carols in the Park, Annual New Years Eve Concerts, Mermaids, The Brown Brothers and Kantuta. 2010 has seen an influx of attractions with Gin Wigmore & Dave Dobyn performing in January, Stan Walker in early February, and the More FM Winery tour hosting top NZ stars such as Bic Runga, Tim Finn and Dave Dobyn.
