Swim School Policies
AC Baths reserves the right to cancel your booking if fees remain unpaid.
Please bring your swim school swipe card to every lesson for entry.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before lesson time to allow changing and for your child to be ready to learn. Ensure you child has used the toilet before entering the pool.
The type of equipment your child uses when learning to swim has an effect on the desired learning outcome:
Goggles - When ill fitting these will fill with water easily causing distraction for the learner and frustration for the instructor who has to spend valuable time adjusting a child's goggles at the expense of the rest of the class.
Board Shorts - Whilst great for the beach, these hinder a child's learning as they become heavy impacting on a good body position to be able to master the strokes.
Swim Caps - A must for learn to swim especially with children with medium to long hair. They keep the distraction of hair away from the children's eyes and mouth especially when learning the breathing cycle.
A full range of swimwear, goggles and accessories are available at upstairs reception and our fully trained staff will help you find the best product for your child's needs.
